Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the construction of a 72,154-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
*A groundbreaking ceremony was held on February 22, 2021. A general contractor has been awarded. A 72,154 square foot replacement Elementary School for the Alamogordo Public Schools located on the Holloman Air Force Base, Otero County, New Mexico. The Elementary School shall have a Design Capacity of 600 students serving grades Pre-K through 5th grade. The new elementary school will be built on the existing Holloman Elementary school site. The existing school to remain operational during the construction of the new replacement school. The Project also includes the demolition of both an existing abandoned intermediate school and after completion of the new school, the existing elementary school. Note: The base-bid lots for the Project are contained in the Project Manual. Pre-Proposal Conference - For those representatives attending in person, please contact the Chief Procurement Officer for special COVID 19 restrictions. Only 2 representatives per proposer will be permitted to attend in person. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and/or cancel this RFP in its entirety. Key project planning schedule milestones are: Tentative Notice of Intent to Award (11/18/2020) Tentative Notice of Award (12/16/2020) Anticipated Substantial Completion Phase 1 (5/3/2022) Anticipated Substantial Completion Phase 2 (9/12//2022)
