The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a solicitation for a construction project for upgrading Senator Wash Pump Generating Plant. Project Description: Work is located at Senator Wash approximately 22 miles northwest of Yuma Arizona. (Imperial County) Work consists of removal and replacement of motor protective relays, furnishing and installing a permanent engine-generator set furnishing and installing distribution panelboards, and interfacing pump-generation unit control with a contractor designed, furnished, and installed SCADA system. The project period of performance is anticipated to begin on or about April 1, 2022, with 365 days performance period. In accordance with FAR 36.204 the estimated price range for this construction project is between $1M - $5M. SITE-VISIT: A pre-proposal site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties; information (e.g. date, time, location) will be provided in the solicitation. This acquisition will be solicited full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238210, Electrical contractors and other Wiring Installation Contractors with a size standard of $16.5M. This acquisition will be pursued in accordance with FAR 15 and in accordance with the source selection evaluation criteria included in the Request for Proposal.
