Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marshall, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
A single contract for asphalt pavement construction and parking lot improvements, including approximately 4,000 square yards of street pulverizing and grading, 1,300 tons of hot-mix, 3,300 tons of asphalt base course, 300 lineal feet of concrete curb & gutter and 2,000 square feet of concrete sidewalk Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of Marshall within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal concrete and street construction. Portions of this project are funded through a Local Road Improvements grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
