As of October 8, 2019, information regarding an award is not available. An award is anticipated to be made by the end of October 2019. The installation of 12,009 feet of cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP); rehabilitation of 46 manholes and structures using spray-applied liner coatings; cleaning of the existing 12,009 feet of sewers; pretelevising and post-televising of the sewers; traffic control, and other miscellaneous work. In addition, the following Minority Participation Goals for Public Works Contracts are in effect for this contract: (1) Ten percent (10%) of the total dollar amount of the contract should be performed by minority business enterprises; and, (2) Eighteen percent (18%) of the total hours worked should be performed by minority workers. The Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois, reserves the right to accept, renegotiate or reject any or all proposals and to waive any variance from the requirements of the instructions for bidders. At the discretion of the Council, required items may be submitted after the bid opening if there is sufficient compliance with instructions at the time of the bid opening to permit the City to determine the price bid. MBE : 7.6% WBE : 6.9%
