Effective January 1,2014, all potential bidders must be certified by DOA prior to submitting 18 bids on state construction projects over $50,000. All bids received from contractors who are not certified 19 will be rejected In general the work consists of the removal of asbestos containing materials, all work in specification section 30 02 82 13 Asbestos Abatement, and all work indicated on asbestos abatement drawings H100 thru H300 Base Bids will be received as follows: A single lump sum bid for All Work. 42 Bidders shall identify the division ofwork being bid when requesting Bidding Documents online. No deposit is required to obtain documents for bidding purposes. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% ofthe Bid must accompany each bid submitted The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23,2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23,2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements
