The Project generally consists of providing necessary labor, equipment and materials for the application of Cape Seal and Micro surface on local roads totaling approximately 15 miles within the Town of Apple Valley. The anticipated start date for the project is on or about the week of April 15, 2019. Project Duration:45 Work Days. Engineer's Estimated Cost:$1,000,000 to $1,250,000. Pre-Qualification for Bidders:Not Required Liquidated Damages:$750.00 Per Calendar Day. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond in favor of the Town in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price.The successful bidder will be required to furnish the Town with Payment and Performance Bonds equal to 100% of the Contract Price, prior to execution of the Contract.
