This work includes placing a Meramec stone chip seal surface on High Acres Drive over the existing chip seal surface. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier check or certified check, or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company payable to the City, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the sum total of the base bid. A payment bond and performance bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the bid amount will be required of the selected bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids. A Bid may not be modified, withdrawn or canceled by the Bidder within sixty (60) days following the time and date designated for the receipt of Bids, and each Bidder so agrees in submitting his Bid.
