The project consists of, but is not limited to installation of anchor and replacement of expansion joint, steam trap assembly, valve, and condensate piping near and within Vault F-7, replacement of anchor, expansion joint, and condensate piping near Pharmacy Booster Vault, and repair of weld on condensate pipe near South Grand Vault. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa in three locations inside Grand Avenue Tunnel from the Field House Vault to Vault F-7 south of MRC. Project Information Substantial Completion Date: May 1, 2019 Final Completion Date: May 14, 2019 Construction Budget $110,000 Bids will be received for a single General Construction Contract. Iowa Construction Sales Tax Exemption Certificates will be provided on this project. Each bid shall be submitted electronically - 00 41 13 specification provided in the Project Manual for reference only. Bid shall be accompanied by bid security, as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect, or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with the Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the date of opening.
