Renovation of a water / sewer project in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**This project will start construction next spring. Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, equipment, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include: The work to be performed under this contract includes demolition and removal of the existing media and equipment, providing and installing new media and equipment, concrete joint repair, temporary bypass pumping, piping and controls, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications. The existing Nitrification Tower 2 is an 88-foot diameter nitrifying trickling filter with 20 feet of plastic media. The existing media shall be removed and replaced with new media. The existing rotary distributor shall be removed and replaced with a new rotary distributor. The existing center column, including foundation, shall be removed and replaced.
