The purpose of the tour(s) is to familiarize all bidders with the various locations and aspects of the Work and to allow prospective bidders to ask questions concerning the Work. The Bidder's Tour, however, does not relieve bidders from the responsibility of familiarizing and informing themselves of the extent and character of the Work as required by the Contract Documents. If weather forces postponement of the Bid Tour, the Engineer will notify plan-holders of a new date and time.
