Renovation of a transportation facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The work consists of the supply of labour, equipment and materials to construct two elevators and associated equipment, including the following: Demolition work, hoarding and dust-tight partitions; Excavation, temporary shoring, shoring and underpinning; Two new elevator shafts, pits, and enclosures; Doors and frames; Construction of Elevator Machine Room, with associated air-conditioning equipment; Provision of two roped holeless hydraulic elevators; Architectural components including, but not limited to masonry, ornamental metals, glazing, tiling, metal linear ceilings, painting; Structural steel; Metal fabrications; Waterproofing; Installation of new fare line at street level; Restoration of existing finishes; Sumps, pumps and associated plumbing and drainage for the two elevators; Pressurization fans and duct heaters; Modification to existing fire alarm system and fire protection system; Controls; Integration of new CCTV and Intercom elements into the existing CCTV and Intercom systems; Illuminated and non-illuminated signage at all levels of the station; Electrical work; Designated Substances and PCBs Survey Report; and Safe removal and disposal of designated substances and hazardous materials as required.
