New construction of a clubhouse / community center in Burnaby, British Columbia. Working plans call for the construction of a 106,000-square-foot, eight-story above grade clubhouse / community center.

Construction of a new community centre in Willingdon Heights Park to replace the existing Willingdon Community Centre which may include two gymnasiums, a community fitness center/weight room, and multi-purpose space, which can be programmed for a variety of health and wellness, recreation, arts and community uses. The building program includes a dedicated arts studio, maker space and music rooms. Location: 4600 block of Lougheed Highway. TIMELINE: Construction of the recreation facility is anticipated to commence in Q3 2027 with completion in Q1 2030. The developer will be responsible for managing construction. Upon completion, the facility will be owned and operated by the city. Further update in fall 2026.
