Renovation of a multi-residential development in Watertown, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Invites the submission of sealed bids for the construction work involved with the above listed project. The project shall be bid out as (1) prime contract: General Construction The scope of work includes but is not limited to removal of Asbestos Containing Caulk and miscellaneous patching material. Removal of existing EPDM Roofing system down to existing roof deck, roof perimeter metal flashing and existing roof drains. Installation of new EPDM Roofing System, Perimeter Metal Flashing and New Roof Drains. Any bid may be withdrawn without prejudice prior to the official bid opening time or any publicized postponement thereof. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Owner, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder or acceptable Sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner.
