Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Paducah, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and 8,300-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The work under this Project consists of the installation of a new 60-ton air-cooled chiller, pumps, miscellaneous electrical work, updated controls and all accessories.A Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Treasurer, City of Norfolk, for 5% of total bid must accompany each bid. The City reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or to reject any or all bids in whole or part, when it is in the best interest of the City. The right to waive informalities and to determine responsiveness of any bid and responsibility of all bidders is reserved to the City. Withdrawal of bids will be in accordance with Section 33.1-42.1 of the Norfolk City Code and Section 11-54 of The Code of Virginia, 1950 (as amended). The Project consist of a new one-story fire station of approximately 8,300 total square feet. Areas include two metal building systems, one with four bays for vehicle parking-approximately 4,000 square feet, the second metal building system provides administrative and operational rooms with an attic space for mechanical equipment, approximately 4,300 square feet Project includes exterior site work with paved parking areas and landscaping.
