Site work, outdoor lighting and renovation of a mixed-use development in Paducah, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.

Lighting at Dolly McNutt Memorial Plaza Question Deadline 07/03/2025 Any and all questions and requests for clarifications or information pertaining to this request for proposal shall be submitted in writing not later than to Amie Clark by email at aclark@paducahky.gov. No oral questions will be answered. SCOPE OF SERVICES The Scope of Work, including but not limited to: 1. Demolition and offsite disposal of existing light fixtures. Existing Posts are to remain for reuse. 2. New Light Fixtures a) Replace and provide 4000K LED Solar Acorn or Lantern style light fixture(s) with terminations for each post. b) Must be powder coated aluminum with heat resistant, shatter proof or tempered glass. c) Include pole adapters for new mount style d) Include light specs and all manufacturer's information. e) Include warranty information. f) Include in Base Price, pricing for single top mounted light fixture per post with mounting bracket as applicable. 3. New Light Posts a) Replace 2 light posts of similar size, material, and style of existing posts. Must be compatible for installation with existing foundations. 4. Add Alternates: a) No. 1: Side Mounted Light Fixtures 1. Three (3) side mounted light fixtures per post with mounting brackets, and recommended K for lighting style, as applicable. b) No. 2: New Power Receptacles 1. Add eight (8) 15A TR/WR GFCI Receptacles in 8 posts to include boxes, devices, covers, etc. 5. Compensation a) Using the Cost Breakdown Form enclosed, provide a proposed cost for the provision of the scope of services defined herein for the City's consideration, to include an itemized cost for services provided, services available, purchase of products and materials, freight, and any and all labor. Dolly McNutt Plaza, located in downtown Paducah, is approximately 3 acres and includes walking paths, a plaza area, and a large fountain with pool. Paducah Parks and Recreation is looking to improve visibility at night in Dolly McNutt Plaza with updated park lighting. The park has 34 existing lamp posts with either top post mounted fixtures or side post mounted fixtures. There are 2 additional lamp post foundations for poles that were damaged and taken out and will need to be replaced as part of this project with similar post and lighting.
