As of August 26 , 2020 awarded the contract to BK Layer. The project should start sometime in the next month. Public Works Project Consisting of the Construction of: West Main Street Sanitary Sewer Lateral Installation Project, Shelby, Oh Checks shall be made payable to the "RB Print Shop, Inc.". Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company of Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bids must be plainly marked "West Main Street Sanitary Sewer Lateral Installation Project". Partial progress payments will be made. The City cannot award a bid to a contractor if the bid is above the Engineer's Estimate. The City of Shelby will entertain no bids of any person or firm in default to the City of Shelby, Ohio, and reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Steven L.
