As of August 26 , 2020 awarded the contract to BK Layer. The project should start sometime in the next month. Public Works Project Consisting of the Construction of: West Main Street Sanitary Sewer Lateral Installation Project, Shelby, Oh Checks shall be made payable to the "RB Print Shop, Inc.". Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company of Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bids must be plainly marked "West Main Street Sanitary Sewer Lateral Installation Project". Partial progress payments will be made. The City cannot award a bid to a contractor if the bid is above the Engineer's Estimate. The City of Shelby will entertain no bids of any person or firm in default to the City of Shelby, Ohio, and reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Steven L. profiles and specifications thereto, herewith propose to furnish all labor, equipment and material
required to complete the project as described in the “Notice to Bidders” which is a part of this
specification book.
All work shall be done under the direction and to the satisfaction of the Engineer and the Director of
Public Service of the City of Shelby, for the unit price and the price will be accepted as full
compensation of all labor performed, equipment provided and materials furnished thereto, as follows on
the attached sheet(s), which are hereby made part of this proposal.
The bidder states that the undersigned (is)(are) the only person(s) interested in the above bid, and
agrees that shall all or any of said bids as accepted, and to fully complete the said work per Item #9 in
the jobsite conditions
