Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project primarily consists of removing the existing bridge superstructure on County Bridges 7 & 8 and then constructing a new superstructure on these bridges. It will also include maintenance work to several other County owned bridges. Contractors bidding on this Project must be prequalified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as prime contractors in the appropriate work category. Dauphin County reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of Dauphin County, and to reject any or all proposals.
