Capital Region Water intends to award the contract to the overall lowest responsible bidder as determined by Capital Region Water's Board of Directors in the best interest of Capital Region Water. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/1/2023 12:00 PM Performance, Payment, and Bid Bonds are not required for this Bid or Agreement. An anti-collusion affidavit is required for this Bid. Bids shall be submitted only on the included Proposal Form within PennBid. While Bidders may make comments to clarify their bid, Bidders cannot change, modify, delete or make additions to the wording to any of the Bidding Documents including, but not limited to, the Agreement. Unauthorized conditions, exceptions, limitations, or provisions attached to a bid may be cause for rejection of the bid. Alterations by erasure or interlineation must be explained or noted in the bid over the signature of the Bidder. All questions and/or inquiries regarding the bidding documents shall be submitted via pennbid's "clarifications" tab. Telephone and e-mail inquires will not be accepted. Bidding documents may only be modified by addendum issued by capital region water prior to the bid opening date. Capital Region Water reserves the right to reject any or all bids and also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in a bid or the bid procedure; and to accept any Bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of Capital Region Water. Remove twenty-one (21) existing double-pane glass panels only from the existing frameworks and sashes. Approximate dimensions of existing panels are 58" x 117" x 1". 2. Remove existing rubber gaskets and mastic around windows. 3. Contractor is responsible for removing all demolition debris, including disposal of the old glass panels. 4. Prepare window framework areas to accept new glass installation that conforms to ANSI Z97.1 and CRF 1201-1.11 & ANSI Z97.1-2015 (R2020) as follows: ANSI Z97.1-1984 Newly installed panels must reach or exceed ANSI Z97.1-2015 (R2020) For safety glazing materials used in buildings - safety performance specifications and methods of test. This standard establishes the specifications and methods of test for the safety properties of safety glazing materials (glazing materials designed to promote safety and reduce the likelihood of cutting and piercing injuries when the glazing materials are broken by human contact) as used for all building and architectural purposes.
