**As of March 24, 2022, project was awarded to SpawGlass. but awarded amount is not available.** Scope of work includes: construction of 10 wide concrete trail, slope paving, pedestrian bridge, subgrade stabilization, landscape amenities, pedestrian ramps, striping Project consists of the following major work items. Note that these quantities are an estimate for order of magnitude and general planning purposes only. Contractor is responsible for their own quantity take offs. 44,860 SY CONC PAVEMENT (JOINT REINFORCED) (6) 2,400 SF PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE DECK 10,270 CY EXCAVATION & FILL 18,789 SY CONCRETE CHANNEL LINING, 5 NOMINAL Construction in, on, or near existing roadways will require a Traffic Control Plan. Construction also requires the implementation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and features. Disposal of any excess material and debris is the responsibility of the contractor. All disturbed areas are to be hydro-mulch seeded as indicated on plans. Estimated Construction Budget: between $11,100,000 to 12,500,000 The deadline to ask questions is 10/20/2021 5:00 PM CST *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Construction of a reinforced concrete Hike and Bike Trail, including clearing and grubbing, soil stabilization, prefabricated bridge, abutments, drilled shaft foundations, new drainage structures, adjustment to existing drainage structures, site furnishings, signage, pavement markings, pedestrian ramps, railing, concrete slope paving, rip rap, seeding, sodding, wildflower, and tree planting. The project also includes installation and maintenance of erosion control devices. 2. Sidewalks, trail, and wheelchair ramps shall comply with current Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements. 3. There is a 14-ft wide (inside clearance) prefabricated pedestrian bridge for this project. Prior to ordering and manufacturing of bridge, verify with bridge and abutment engineer appropriate dimensions needed for approved bridge design. Refer to TxDOT specification 4000, bridge plans, and supplemental bid documents for further requirements. 4. Contractor will be responsible to provide plant protection in accordance with the plans and specifications. 5. Contractor will be responsible to implement the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the Brays Bayou Replacement Trail and use best practices during construction. Project construction activities will disturb an area greater than 5 acres. See Section 0410 - TPDES Requirements. Contractor shall be responsible for all fees, including notices, fillings and permits associated with SWPPP and TPDES requirements at no additional cost to HPB. The Cash Allowance for TPDES permits is limited to the application fee for the Notice of Intent for Storm Water Discharges Associated with Construction Activity under TPDES General Permit. 6. The Contractor will be responsible to obtain all necessary permits, including but not limited to: lane closures and street cut. Permits that are required and are not paid under Cash Allowances are incidental to all other pay items and are at no additional cost to HPB. MWSBE Goal: _24%_ percent, where SBE can make up to 4% of the goal
