Renovation of a municipal facility in Houston, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of March 24, 2022, This project has been cancelled. No definite date for the rebid. The scope of this contract includes the removal and disposal of illegally dumped items within county rights-of-Way located within the boundaries of Harris County Precinct 1 on an on-call, as-needed basis. For the purposes of this contract, county right-of-way is determined as any road right-of way including any ditches, curb and gutter, and/or sidewalks, any other county managed public rights-of-way and/or easements, County Parks, alleyway and other areas designated by the County. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, fuel, and other items necessary to load, transport and dispose of debris from County rights-of-way to a County approved landfill or other disposal facility. The final disposal of all debris shall be in accordance with all Local, State, and Federal regulations. Within this contract debris to be removed is categorized as, but is not limited to, the following: o Vegetative Debris o Construction Debris o Household Debris Additionally, specific categories of debris will be considered "Special Debris". Removal and disposal of these items will be subject to additional payment. Categories of debris considered to be "Special Debris" include the following: o Abandoned Vehicles o Automobile Parts o White Goods (i.e. stoves, ovens, refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, driers, etc.) o Electronics (i.e. televisions, computers, computer monitors, stereo equipment, etc.) o Tires o Soil, Mud, and Sand The Contractor shall contact the appropriate HCSO patrol district to have any abandoned vehicles tagged as abandoned prior to removal unless it is a traffic hazard. If tagged vehicles are obstructing the debris removal and disposal operations, once the vehicles are removed, the Contractor will be responsible for removing any debris that was initially inaccessible due to the abandoned vehicles. For abandoned vehicles that are obstructing traffic, the county will be responsible for removing and towing to the appropriate destination(s) for impounding. The Contractor shall provide traffic control in accordance with the Texas MUTCD. Please refer to the attached Harris County Standard TCP drawings for reference. Harris County will periodically give the Contractor written authorization to remove and dispose of debris in Harris County ROW within Precinct 1. Upon completing the work, the Contractor shall notify Harris County for verification.
