The village approved an about $591,000 architectural and engineering consultation proposal from Architectural Design Consulants, Inc., for services on the planned 28,500 square foot new law enforcement facility in Lake Delton. The facility is planned for the area near the new Lake Delton Fire and EMS Complex, and would move the Lake Delton Police Department from their current location at 50 Wisconsin Dells Parkway South. Survey work for the project is complete, and current plans for the facility include about 14,000 square feet each for a police building that will hold, among other spaces, offices, lockers, storage, interview and holding rooms, and a support building that will house parking, impound space, and forensic lab support. As of October 26 2020, this project is ready to start construction but is on hold. The general contractor has been confirmed.
