The work includes the removal and disposal of all existing roofing material and other associated construction debris; an inspection of the roof decking and deck structure identifying and replacing any damage or, imperfection that could impact the long-term integrity of the replacement roofing system and roofing systems warranty. Secondary to the roofing replacement significant repairs are required to the stable cupola. Project shall include the following: All labor, material(s), equipment, mobilization and all other necessary overhead to facilitate the scope of work identified in Specification and Bid Proposal, defined in SECTION 7 Contractor shall furnish and pay for all required materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals, unless otherwise provided in the Contract, and shall include the cost of these items in the prices bid for the several units of Work, as specified. Bids must be accompanied by a 10% bid security. An awardee must submit all required documentation including, but not limited to the required insurance, Wage Act documentation, subcontractors list, performance and payment bonds per the Invitation to bid. The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
