Renovation of a mixed-use development in Easton, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials and appurtenances as necessary for the replacement of the specified door hardware within Easton Middle School and Easton High School, Talbot County Public Schools, Maryland, as described in the specifications; and as directed by the Plant Operations Manager The subsequent Contract period, resulting from the RFQ process, shall be determined by the owner and the successful contractor. The estimated time frame in which this work will be completed will be between June 17, 2019 and August 9, 2019. The Contractor shall maintain Workers Compensation and Occupational Disease Disability Insurance on all its employees as required by the laws of the State of Maryland, and will maintain Property Damage and Public Liability Insurance to the maximum limit of $1,000,000.00 covering the work of all its employees during the performance of the service(s). A Certificate of Insurance shall be provided to the Plant Operations Department at the time this agreement is signed and before work can commence. Contractors finding discrepancies or omissions in the RFQ or having any doubts as to the meaning or intent of any part thereof, shall submit such questions or concerns to Kevin Shafer, Plant Operations Manager, Talbot County Public Schools, at kshafer@talbotschools.org.
