The work will consist of materials and labor to completely replace 5,250 s.f. of 4" concrete walk, pads, and park bench pads; 736 s.f. of 6" concrete pad; 224 s.f. curb ramp; 32 s.f. detectable warning for curb ramp, remove 3,100 s.f. concrete/asphalt walk; remove 90 l.f. concrete/stone curb; and 90 l.f. type 6 curb.Bids must be submitted on the forms bound in the Bidding Document; must contain the names of every person or company interested therein; and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond with satisfactory corporate surety in the amount of 100% of the bid amount, or by a certified check or bank check on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the maximum bid amount, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Maintenance and Guarantee bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. The Owner may waive the requirement that the Payment and Performance Bond be underwritten by a surety company and may authorize in lieu thereof, a personal bond backed by an irrevocable letter of credit from a local lending institution, utilizing the form provided, for the full value of the Contract.
