The State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill is seeking a responsive and responsible contractor to provide HVAC materials, labor and services for the Partial Renovation of Curtis-Mott - HVAC project which will include: All HVAC work as per drawings and specs. Hydronic piping systems. BMS systems for new equipment. Existing duct removals New duct work and diffuser installation Bathroom fans and hoods. Roof Hoods and exhaust fans. Fire Dampers and installation. Duct Insulation. Testing and Balancing Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge on campus at the Mackey Service Building, 119 Schoharie Parkway North, Cobleskill, NY 12043. Documents will be available as (1) physical set and/or (1) electronic set (download or CD). The contractor will be responsible for the cost of obtaining additional documents. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents.Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage certified minority- or women-owned business enterprises and service-disabled veteran-owned business participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. State Finance Law 139-l requires bidders on State contracts to have in place policies and training to prevent sexual harassment. A certification of such is required for submission of this bid. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
