The work includes on-site and off-site demolition; site grading; soil export; concrete sidewalk & walkway; concrete driveway approach; concrete curb and gutter; asphalt patching; parking lot concrete curb, concrete wheel stops, concrete pavers and gravel base; 6" reinforced concrete slab; parking lot and bike path striping; solar lights, footings and grounding; bike rack; salvaged bench and signage installation; pathway concrete header/curb; planter mow curb; landscaping and irrigation system; and other works per plans and specifications. The project contract shall be completed and facility shall be made ready for service within 90 working days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. Five percent of the payments due to the successful Contractor shall be withheld by City as retention for per- formance security, but the Contractor may substitute securities for said retention pursuant to Section 7.04 of the General conditions.f the Bidder is awarded the contract, the contract shall be terminated and the bid bond forfeited if the Bidderfails to provide the applicable insurance certificates and bonds within the time set forth.
