Contract A: Building Facade improvements and replacement of windows and miscellaneous improvements. Contract B: Additions and improvements to the existing Veterans Memorial Park Pool House building. Separate bids will be received for each Contract and shall be on a basis as indicated in the Bid Forms. In accordance with Section 101.5. of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, Bidders shall submit with its bid a separate sealed list that names each subcontractor that the bidder will use to perform work on the contract, and the agreed-upon amount to be paid to each, for: (a) plumbing and gas fitting, (b) steam heating, hot water heating, ventilating and air conditioning apparatus and electric wiring and standard illuminating fixtures. The Contract Documents must be obtained through the Avalon Planroom in order to be considered a Plan Holder of record. Bidding Documents obtained from any other source are for examination only, are not considered complete and are not valid for bidding purposes. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Avalon Planroom will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Avalon Planroom. Neither the Town of Sardinia nor Engineer/Architect will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the bidding Documents from the Issuing Office (Avalon Planroom) starting March 14. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Rochester office of MRB Group on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM or they may also be examined at the office of the Town of Sardinia, 12320 Savage Road, Sardinia, New York 14134 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, or Tuesdays between the hours of 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM; at plan rooms, or online through internet based construction information subscription services. The Town of Sardinia, Eerie County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract. The Town of Sardinia does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs and activities. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
