**As of May 7, 2019 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Contract involves the installation of residential water meters including an automatic meter reading system and complete restoration of all disturbed areas. For Contract No. 19-01, Bids will be based on a unit price basis. Include a separate bid for each alternate. A Pre Bid Conference will not be held. The Work in Contract No. 19-01 is to be substantially completed within 90 days from the specified date. Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Laporte Borough Municipal Water Company in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Surety companies executing bonds must be listed in the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570, as currently amended, and be authorized to be in business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by the required Performance and Payment Bonds. The Performance and Payment Bonds shall be in the amount of 100% of the liability of the Contract. Laporte Borough Municipal Water Company reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
