Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Elyria, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision of labors necessary, to complete the project in all respect. The project will consist of removing 1.25 thick concrete bridge surface using hydro-demolition techniques and installing a new micro silica modified concrete overlay on the Third St Bridge (base bid) and Second St Bridge (Add Alternate #A) over the CSX railroad lines within the City of Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio. All bidders shall be pre-qualified. All bidders shall submit bid security with their bid in accordance with ORC 153.54 as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders in the bid specifications. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty must meet all requirements. The contractor will have until August 30, 2019 to complete the work in all respect and open all lanes to traffic. At least 6% participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) must be utilized in the project. The City reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities, to reject any or all bids received, and to accept any bid with any combination of alternates which is deemed most favorable to the City of Elyria, Ohio at the time and under the conditions stipulated in the project documents.
