The Parish of Ascension desires to obtain professional construction materials testing and inspection services for a program funded by Disaster Recovery Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The Parish of Ascension has acquired funding through the LA-OCD CDBG disaster recovery program to construct infrastructure improvements and upgrades in Hillaryville, Darrow, Astroland and St. Elmo. The selected consulting testing lab will be responsible for all materials testing and inspections during construction. All questions regarding this project and the bid package shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via purchasing@apgov.us by 4:00 pm local time on April 9, 2019. Responses will be coordinated with the Project Coordinator and posted on the online by 4:00 pm local time on April 12, 2019. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid , response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
