Site work for a water / sewer project in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Magnolia Pier Reconstruction - Perform test borings/piles, remove & dispose of existing and reconstruct a new timber pile-supported pier. The proposed work will involve performing test piles, demolition, removal and disposal of the existing timber pilesupported pier, and the reconstruction of a new timber pile-supported pier. The proposed pier will be constructed within the same footprint as the existing pier and will have an additional twenty-eight batter piles and a reinforced concrete abutment. The proposed work will also include coordination with the Gloucester Harbormaster on adjustments/relocation of the existing seasonal float and associated bottom anchors and procurement and installation of a new aluminum gangway and connections. An Add-Alternate Masonry Wall Reconstruction is included for work to the north of the proposed pier location, if the City selects this add-alternate. Contractor questions shall be submitted by the COB on Friday, April 12, 2019. An addendum will be issued with responses to the questions submitted by 12:00pm, Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
