Aquis/Flexible Start Time: 120 Days Acquis The Improvements under this District contract consist of the permanent replacement of an overhead sign damaged by Hurricane Michael in Panama City, Bay County, Florida. The project site was identified in a Detailed Damage Inspection Report. SR 75 (US 231) Harrison Ave. replace overhead sign structure No. 46S517 is a cantilever span sign structure that will be replaced in-kind. The construction elements for the project include the construction of miscellaneous asphalt, sidewalk, barrier wall, and guardrail. The summary of pay items for this project is listed in the Plans. FHWA 1273 and Davis Bacon Wage Rates are applicable for this Contract For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00. A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects unless noted otherwise in the project specifications.
