Renovation of an educational facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project Description: Renovation of the existing Kirn Middle School located at 100 North Avenue, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The project consists of approximately 115,000 sq. ft. of renovations within the existing building, demolition of approximately 1,900 sq. ft. of existing one story classroom space, and construction of 3 new additions including; a New Main Entry / Adminsitrative area addition of 5,522 sq, ft,, a 2 story Classroom addition of 8,000 sq. ft., and a Dock / Receiving area addition of 1,850 sq. ft.. The project will also include the construction of a new Parent Drop-Off Lane to the east of the existing building, and Site Improvements immediately south of the existing building. Design includes engineering for Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Food Service Equipment. Owner provided items, as indicated in the Specifications, shall be coordinated by the Contractor.
