Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; for the addition of a fire / police facility; and for the demolition of a fire / police facility.
The project consists of renovation to existing office space and construction of a new office area. The addition is one (1) story in height, and has a total area of approximately six thousand nine hundred and fifty (6,950) square feet. Bids must be on a Lump Sum basis. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accord with the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders are subject to and must comply with applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa. Minority and Targeted Small Business participation is encouraged. Bidders shall make a good faith documented effort to encourage the participation of Certified Iowa Targeted Small Business in accordance with the Code of Iowa. In accordance with Iowa Department of Labor Rules located at 875 IAC 156.2, the Owner requests a statement from each bidder regarding the bidder's resident status. Failure to submit a fully completed Bidder Status Form with the bid may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the Bidding.
