The project generally consists of an intersection improvement at SR 141 (Peachtree Parkway) and East Jones Bridge Road/Medlock Bridge Road that will be funded by GDOTs Operation Improvement Program. The GDOT Project Number is PI0016444. The improvements include removing the left turns at the primary intersection and establishing a Thru-U with median U-turns on adjacent intersections. Option 1: No Build, no cost to the city. Option 2: Conventional Intersection improvements, 6 years until completed Option 3: Median U-Turn, 3 years until completion Option 4: Grade Separated Interchange, 15 years until completed. Final scope and project costs will be announced at a future date. As of August 7, 2024, this project in design.
