Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ramsey, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Ramsey will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor, material, machinery and tools necessary for City Improvement. The work generally consists of reconstructing 0.63 miles of the Wood Pond Hills & Chestnut Ridge neighborhood which includes; 146th Avenue, Helium Street, and Krypton Street in the City of Ramsey. The work is estimated to include: 10,332 square yard of bituminous pavement reclamation, 2,008 tons of bituminous pavement, 900 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter replacement, and Miscellaneous other improvements. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded on May 14, 2019, and that work may begin on or about May 28, 2019. Each bidder shall submit a bid bond made payable to the City of Ramsey in the amount of 5% of the total bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The electronic bid must be completed and submitted, all addenda acknowledged and acknowledgement uploaded to the site, and a copy of the bid bond uploaded to the site. The original bid bond must be delivered to the City within 2 business days after the bid opening. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least 45 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of Ramsey reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities.
