Renovation of a mixed-use development in Freehold, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

If contractor requests shipping, a direct shipping account must be provided to the Architect and for paper sets a separate non-refundable handling fee of $25.00 per set payable in advance. Deposits will only be refunded if the bid documents are returned in whole in good condition, bound in proper order, unmarked and returned within ten (10) days after the opening of bids, by a Bidder submitting a bona fide bid. All questions must be sent only via mail or facsimile at (609) 883-2694 with the job number referenced. Bid Proposal shall be submitted in triplicate (one original and two copies) in separate sealed envelopes for each contract: addressed to the owner, bearing the name and address of the bidder written on the face of the envelope, and clearly marked "BID" with the contract title and/or bid number on the outside of the envelope. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Owner for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00; and must be delivered to the above place on or before the hour named. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, each proposal shall be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC), prior to date bids are received. The Public Works Contractor Registration Act", N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.51 et seq. (P.L. 199, c.238) requires bidders and their subcontractors to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development prior to the time and date that bids are received. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. the "Public School Contracts Law." All bidders shall comply with The New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.27 et seq. (P.L. 1963, c.150) and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 (P.L. 1975, c.127), and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. and all duly adopted Affirmative Action Regulations. An Initial Project Workforce Report will be required from the successful bidder (Form AA-201). Per N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, contractors and subcontractors must provide a Business Registration Certificate issued prior to the award of contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject all bids or to waive minor informalities in the bidding if it is in the interest of the Owner to do so.
