Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sherman, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Road Paving/Reclamation Projects 2019-2020 The work involves hauling and laying Class I asphalt from O & G Industries in New Milford, Connecticut, paving with Class I asphalt (except as otherwise noted) with key cuts as indicated in the project description. The successful bidder shall enter into a contract for the same, within ten (10) days after notification of award of contract. If no contract is awarded within 60 days of the opening of bids, the bid may be withdrawn. The successful bidder shall commence work within 10 days of issuance of a Notice to Proceed. All Work must be completed within 30 calendar days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All work must be completed by June 30, 2019. The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise for new bids for any reason. The award of the contract, if made, will be made to the lowest responsible and qualified bidder.
