Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sherman, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Add 20 Amp outlets to a dedicated 20 Amp circuit. The outlets will be installed near the windows so that a portable air conditioner can be installed in each classroom. See floor plans for all outlet quantities and locations. Outlets will be mounted on the surface of the wall and MC cable will be strapped to the walls up to the drop ceiling area. MC cable will be run through the dropped ceiling areas of the classrooms and hallways to utility rooms. A 200 Amp rated Sq D QO 24 space 3 phase panel will be installed in the lower level utility room connected to the existing 150 Amp spare breaker in the main distribution panel in the lower level utility room. A 100 Amp rated SQ D QO24 space 3 phase panel will be installed in the upper data room connected to the new panel installed in the lower level utility room. Circuits in the new panels will be labeled. All ceiling tiles removed during work must be replaced undamaged. It is the responsibility of the proposer to replace any broken or damaged tiles with owner supplied ceiling tiles. All work areas are to be left broom swept or vacuumed cleaned. All NEC codes must be followed. Project Completion: A timeline will be established with the successful bidder within one week of award. The project must be completed before July 18, 2025. Contract Award: The Town of Sherman/ Sherman Board of Education intends to select a proposer on or around April 11, 2025, and issue a notice to proceed shortly thereafter Interviews and Presentations: Interviews and presentations may be scheduled with some or all of the qualified proposers during the period of April 11, 2025, through April 18, 2025 The Town of Sherman/ Sherman Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all responses to the RFQ/P or waive defects if it deems such to be in its best interest.
