Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Sherman, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Sherman Board of Selectmen (BOS) is accepting proposals for the replacement of selected damage walkways in front of Mallory Town Hall (MTH). Project scope: 1. Replace selected damaged walkways (approx. 950 Sq. Ft.) 2. Demo existing concrete damage walkways 3. Furnish/touch up gravel base 4. Place back 5" concrete walkways a. Walkways reinforced with welded wire fabric b. Walkways' concrete to meet CT DOT Class F Concrete standards c. All joints be dowled to existing wall/post pads 5. Asphalt pavement - Drive patch 3" 6. Topsoil, screened rake/seed/hay 7. Demo concrete along with old bench footings, haul and dispose The Town of Sherman reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The Town also reserves the right to waive technical defects, irregularities, and omissions if in its judgment it deems the proposal to be in the Town's best interest.
