Facilities at Interchange Court The work to be done consists of the following generally described items: Construction of a new public works compound for the City of Savannah, GA. The scope of work includes 10 new buildings, renovation of an existing warehouse building, and a new fueling station for City vehicles. The scope also includes associated site work; parking, storm drainage, water and sewer service. Also included is bringing new water and sewer service to the site from off-site, a sanitary sewer force main, two new gravity sewer lines to be located off site in Interchange Court and Interchange Drive, and a new left-turn lane at the intersection of W. Gwinnett Street and Interchange Drive. The two largest new buildings, 67,000 sf Admin Building and 23,000 sf Operations Building, will be on deep pile foundations. These two buildings will also be fire sprinklered.
