Estimated Value: less than 100k Response Format: Electronic and Paper Bid Valid: 90 Consecutive calendar days Online Q and A: April22, 2:00 PM (Pacific) The work under this contract shall be performed entirely within the City of Burbank, and consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, apparatus, transportation, supervision, services, and performing all work necessary and incidental to the construction of the underground electric system except for the work that will be done by the City of Burbank. The work shall consist of the construction of the underground electric system including the cutting and removal of existing pavement, sidewalk, and substructures; furnishing, installing, and concrete encasing PVC conduits; excavating for, furnishing and installing precast pullboxes, handholes, and padmount pads; grounding; trenching; backfill; compaction; retaining walls around electric structures; traffic control (including signs and barricades); work around energized primary and secondary conductors; temporary paving; permanent pavement; and everything called for in the specifications whether specifically mentioned in this paragraph or not. The City of Burbank reserves the right to add to, or delete from, the Quantities of this contract at any time. This project is subject to prevailing wages. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after march 1, 2015) unless registered with the department of industrial relations pursuant to labor code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under labor code section 1771.1(a)]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after april 1, 2015) unless registered with the department of industrial relations pursuant to labor code section 1725.5 This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the department of industrial relations All bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the Department of industrial relations (DIR) as a public works contractor.
