Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chula Vista, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Estimated Value: 3,050,000 to 3,380,000 The scope of work consists of improvements within Third Avenue from E Street to approximately 200 feet north of F Street. The roadway will be narrowed at intersections and at midblock crossings by extending curbs toward the centerline on each side of the roadway to provide one through lane in each direction between E Street and F Street. New raised medians will be constructed, diagonal parking will be provided, and pedestrians crossings will be constructed with decorative pavers witthin the project limits. The Contractor shall be required to establish and maintain a close, proactive relationship with the Third Avenue Village Association (TAVA) representatives and the property owners throughout the construction of the project. This will require the Contractor to attend weekly meetings to assure positive communication with the representatives.
