Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Hastings, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a military facility; for the renovation of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
NEARNG - GTS KD Range Sustainment.This project consists of all labor, equipment, tools, materials, travel, licenses and permits to renovate the Known Distance (KD) Range pit area at the Greenlief Training Site, Hastings, NE. The range was built in 1973 and has 24 Firing Points and is 9.1 Acres in size. The renovation work to include removal of existing target shed, excavate behind existing 10' high retaining wall and construct new underground concrete storage room (224' X 9'). Miscellaneous work includes concrete cutting to lower top of existing retaining wall and cut new door opens, install new HM doors, install new exterior concrete paving, install new lighting and electrical power, grading and seeding. Construction is scheduled to begin September 2019. Precast concrete roof planks anticipated to be completed prior to start of construction. As of January 8, 2020, all trades have been let.
