Renovation of a residential development in Havertown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. The project includes replacement of the structural framing and roof on the Lower Springhouse building at the Grange Estate. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Bidders attention is called to the fact that a portion of this project is receiving funds under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, and as such, the Davis-Bacon Act applies to this Contract and that the successful Bidder shall pay no less than the Federal Wage Rates determined for the project area as set forth in the Contract Documents. The successful Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
