Renovation of an educational facility in Cold Spring, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of November 19, 2019 This project has been award. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Renovation of the Highland Lodge and Cabins and the construction of a new Memorial Pavilion at Taconic Outdoor Education Center of Clarence Fahnestock Memorial State Park will be received by the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Taconic Region at Administrative Headquarters, Taconic Regional Office, 9 Old Post Road, Staatsburg, NY 12580. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check or bid bond in the amount of $32,000.00 (thirty-two thousand dollars) Work includes the renovation of the Highland Lodge and four cabins and the new construction of the Memorial Pavilion. In accordance with State Finance Law, Section 139j, the following agency staff has been designated as contacts for this contract: Frank McCue 518-486-2923 (technical questions) Joanne Beaulieu 845-889-3841 (administrative questions) Please note that contacting any other agency staff regarding this contract may be a violation of State Finance Law, Section 139j, resulting in a determination of contractor non-responsibility. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the statutory form of public bonds required by Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract. Project Specific Liquidated Damages (Refer to Table in Article 14 of General Conditions). Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No All RFI's are due by 1:00 PM on June 3, 2019 Contract term: 365 days after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptroller's Office
