This project provides for the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment and work necessary for the removal of an existing single-span steel bridge over the PA Turnpike (I-276) and construction of new two-span steel plate girder bridge. The contract also includes reconstruction of S.R. 2006 approach roadway, realignment of two side roads, utility installations, drainage modifications, signing and pavement markings, temporary traffic signals, and the construction of the mainline median/shoulder at the proposed bridge location. An electronic bid bond, from an approved vendor, with corporate surety, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security.
