Site work for a water / sewer project in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This item is for the replacement of sanitary sewer running north of Arbor Trace Drive from South H Street to west of South I Street (SW-C5-85 to SW-C5-110). The scope of work includes approximately 1,200 feet of pipe and 6 manholes. This section was found to be a location of high inflow and infiltration by staff. This project was designed and planned as a part of the Inflow and Infiltration Improvements Project (8016-119) but has been split into a new CIP item. The funding for the construction of Storm Sewer Improvements along 4th Avenue on this project will be paid for using storm water funding from CIP 8065-11. As of June 28, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
