Site work for a water / sewer project in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All received bids have been rejected. The project will be rebid later this year. Bids are requested for the replacement of asbestos cement & PVC waterlines consisting of approximately 1,350' of 6" diameter PVC water main, 1,900' of 10" diameter PVC water main, approximately 45 service lines and pavement restoration. Waterline replacement is located at Essex Circle Drive and Woodland Drive in Shrewsbury Borough. All bidders shall be required to furnish a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Upon the acceptance of the proposal by the Borough, the successful bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount to the Borough. The Borough reserves the right, which is agreed and understood by all bidders, to accept or reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn by the bidder for sixty (60) days after closing time for receipt of bids.
