Site work and paving for a civil project in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are requested for the replacement of asbestos cement & PVC waterlines consisting of approximately 2,650 LF of 6" diameter PVC water main, 1,550 LF of 10" diameter PVC water main, 35 service lines and pavement restoration. Waterline replacement is located along East Forrest Avenue, West Forrest Avenue, Railroad Avenue and Charles Street in Shrewsbury Borough. All bidders shall be required to furnish a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Upon the acceptance of the proposal by the Borough, the successful bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount to the Borough The Borough reserves the right, which is agreed and understood by all bidders, to accept or reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn by the bidder for sixty (60) days after closing time for receipt of bids.
